TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Go Live Africa Technologies (Pty) Ltd

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Go Live Africa Technologies. By paying a
deposit, signing a quote, or instructing the commencement of work, the Client agrees to be bound by these
terms. No exceptions or verbal variations apply.

1. THE “SCOPE CREEP” & WORK LIMITS
Out-of-Scope Work: Any request not explicitly detailed in the original quote is an “Extra.” This includes
“small tweaks” or additional pages. These are billed at R750 per hour (1-hour minimum).
Consultation Cap: Monthly support includes 30 minutes of consultation. Excess time is billed at R1,200
per hour.
Communication: Formal instructions must be emailed. WhatsApp or voice notes are not binding and will
not be processed.

2. WEB DESIGN, DOMAINS & TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Content Deadlines: The Client must provide all text and images. If not received within 14 days, we will launch with “Placeholder Text” and the final invoice becomes due immediately.
Technical Malpractice: If the Client (or their agent) accesses the backend and “breaks” the site, a
Restoration Fee of R750 per hour applies.
Ownership (24-Month Rule): Websites on subscription remain Company property for 24 months. Early
exit requires full payment of the 24-month balance.
Email & Storage: We are not an IT helpdesk. Storage increases or “email sorting” are billed as extras.
Password/Mailbox recovery is R500 per incident.

3. MULTIMEDIA (PHOTO, VIDEO & LIVESTREAMING)
Creative Discretion: The Company holds final say on editing style. Re-editing “because you changed
your mind” is billed at R350 per photo / R650 per video minute.
RAW Files: We sell final edits. RAW/Unedited footage is proprietary and not released without a buyout
fee.
Data Purge: Files are stored for 30 days only. A R1,200 retrieval fee applies to lost files (subject to
availability).

4. BRANDING & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Concept Forfeiture: If the Client changes the business name or brand “direction” after work begins, the
initial project is closed (non-refundable) and a new project must be paid for.

“Powered By” Credit: A footer link to Go Live Africa is mandatory. Removal without the R1,950 White-
Label Fee is a breach of contract.

5. BILLING & TERMINATION
Deposits: All 50% commencement deposits are strictly non-refundable.
Suspension: Invoices unpaid for 7 days result in immediate suspension of websites, emails, and
production. A 10% weekly late fee applies.
Client Conduct: We reserve the right to terminate any project involving abusive behavior or 30+ days of
client unresponsiveness.

LEGAL NOTICE: As a Legal Consultancy and Multimedia Hub, we ensure structural integrity.
However, the Client is solely responsible for ensuring their content obeys South African law
(POPIA, etc.).
